Two banks, front and rear.
Up to 112 feeders for 8 mm tape, for production with many part numbers in short runs.
Pick & place ·
One head, eight nozzles, no wasted trips.

3D rendering.
By bringing the laser sensor closer to the board, the RS-2 shortens the path between pick and place. Fast with the smallest chip and reliable with parts up to 50 mm.
Four stops, from the feeders to the board.

Up to 112 feeders for 8 mm tape, for production with many part numbers in short runs.
The TAKUMI head picks up eight parts of different heights and places them without going back for more.
Without stopping the head, it checks that the part isn't standing on end, its orientation, its size, that it's still on the nozzle and that it has been released. Above: what the laser sees.
From 03015 chips to 50 mm square parts, with the same head.
Bwit 3D rendering with its sample board, sized to the RS-2: nozzles 12 mm apart, RF feeders and parts from 03015. At the laser stop, the “What the laser sees” box is a Bwit drawing.
TAKUMI head
Picks up eight parts before returning to the board, and the laser measures each one in transit, without stopping to look: from 03015 chips to 50 mm square parts.5

No: the advertised 50,000 CPH is the “optimum” speed. Closer to day-to-day production is the IPC 9850 figure: 32,000 CPH. With your board, we calculate the real one.
Yes: the RS-2 is designed for short batches, with minimal setup times, and takes up to 112 feeders.
From 03015 up to 74 mm square or 50 × 150 mm, up to 25 mm high.
±35 µm (Cpk).
From 50 × 50 up to 800 × 370 mm with double clamping, 0.3 to 6.0 mm thick and up to 3 kg.
1,500 × 1,686 × 1,450 mm (W × D × H) and 1,630 kg. Before you order, we send you the layout drawing with the access points.
Three-phase 200 V AC (up to 415 V with transformer), 2.2 kVA, and air at 0.5 ± 0.05 MPa: 200 L/min with vacuum ejector or 50 with pump.
Yes: it receives bad-board marks and SPI compensation, and the JaNets software monitors production. Connection to your MES is reviewed case by case.
The laser checks orientation, dimensions and tombstoning; the optional CVS checks resistance, capacitance and polarity, and a coplanarity sensor detects lifted leads.
With visual aids on the layout, and the laser measures each component on its own. For fast changeovers, you prepare the feeders off the machine or on an exchange cart.
